Diversity Agenda and members gain recognition in 2019 Diversity Awards
We’re proud to announce the Diversity Agenda is a finalist in the ‘Emerging Diversity and Inclusion’ category of the Diversity Awards NZ™, which honours diversity and inclusion initiatives that are less than two years’ old.
Since our launch last April, we’ve seen our membership double to over 90 firms. We’ve held talks and workshops in different parts of the country, run surveys to track industry change, and shared our members’ successes through our channels. And that’s just the beginning!

Glen Cornelius of Harrison Grierson in the ‘Walk the Talk’ category — celebrating leaders who exemplify excellence in promoting and managing a diverse workforce.
Downer New Zealand in two categories: the ‘Cultural Celebration’ category — showcasing authentic responses to cultural and ethnic engagement in the workplace, and the ‘Tomorrow’s Workforce’ category — celebrating innovative responses to a changing workforce demographic.
GHD in the two categories: the ‘Positive Inclusion’ category — celebrating innovative responses to inclusivity of the LGBTI community in the workforce, and the ‘Tomorrow’s Workforce’ category.
Mahsa McCauley of the Auckland University of Technology for the ‘She Sharp’ programme in the ‘Empowerment’ category — celebrating innovative responses to empowering women in the workplace.
The Diversity Awards NZ, which are run by Diversity Works New Zealand, will be announced in late August.
